Chennai Corporation School students fly to Mumbai

On 9^th December 2016, 6000 students from Chennai Corporation schools attempted the NFLAT examination. Chennai Higher Secondary School, Taramani was qualified for Round 2 of the examination. R.Jeevitha of Std VI and M.Ayisha of Std VII were selected to participate in the round 2 examination held at NISM, Patalganga Campus, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra on 21^st to 23^rd April 2017. The two students traveled to Mumbai with their school principal and two teachers.

The round 2 of the examination had an online competition in which 118 questions were answered out of 150 questions by the students. Students participated enthusiastically in all the activities conducted during the competition. This made them to express their talents.

As a token of appreciation, the students received the cash prize of Rs. 3000 and the certificate. A Special Recognition shield has been given to the school. It was a great learning and enjoyable exposure trip to the students.
