Learning achievement tracking study was conducted in 10 schools in Tamilnadu. The purpose of the study was to assess DE's impact on the student learning outcome and teacher's perceptions.
The findings of the study:
- It clearly indicates the difference in performance of the students in DE and Non-DE schools. DE school students, on an average, scored 11% higher than the students belonging to Non DE schools.
- 100% of the teachers believe that they have benefited from the program and 97.5% of the teachers prefer using the DE way of teaching methodology.
