Centralized Teacher training at DIET

The latest initiative by American India Foundation, Chennai is the DIET- School connect program. This program began with the inauguration of our Technology center at NKT National College, Triplicane. Since its launch, the teacher-students of NKT National College have been trained regularly in technology and pedagogy aspects.

AIF has tied up with 20 schools as a part of this program and have designed training sessions for in-service teachers in those schools. The first ever centralized in-service teacher training happened on the 28^th of January 2015 and since then, 4 such trainings have happened. Teachers from these 20 schools came together at our technology center at NKT National College and participated in the training. They also shared their experiences and ideas with each other.
