DIET – School Connect Program
As a part of the DE program, “DIET – School Connect project" supported by DELL has been implemented in Chennai. In this program a Technology centre has been set up at NKT College of Education for Women, Triplicane and 20 Schools attached to this would be the Centers of Excellence. The Technology center has been equipped with 15 hi-end Desktop computers along with internet connection. The schools which are connected to this program received 3 Desktop computers each, UPS, tables and Chairs. Mr. Jagdish from Dell India inaugurated the center and interacted with the students.

The main objectives of the program are :
1. To intervene at TTI/DIET, College of Education level to improve the skills and capabilities of pre-service teachers to make them 21st century teachers.
2. To intervene at in-service level and train teachers from the schools attached to the TTI/College of Education and thereby improve the teaching methodology and increase the learning outcomes at the school level.
3. To improve the ICT skills of the DIET Faculty, Heads of the schools, Monitoring and Feedback
