Dr. Hemanth Paul, Country Director, American Indian Foundation visited 3 DE schools in Coimbatore on 18th October 2013. Mr. Baskaran , State Program Manager and Mr. Alexander, Regional Coordinator of DE Program, Tamilnadu accompanied him.
The Country Director visited the schools where The DE program along with the English Helper program is being implemented. He Interacted with the teachers and the students about the usefulness of the Program. He also visited the Special school for the deaf in which Flipped Classroom model is being demonstrated by setting up a Tab-Lab. In a press meet In Coimbatore he said AIF would soon launch a new program called “Financial Literacy” to the students of grade 6 to 10 in the DE schools by Integrating with the school curriculum.
