Training on internet
concepts for the 27 school HM’s of Coimbatore Corporation Schools was organized
on 28th Sep 2012. Shri T. K. Ponnusamy IAS, Commissioner, Coimbatore
City Municipal Corporation, inaugurated the training and addressed the HMs. He
also added in his address that the DE schools would be given additional
computers for their usage. Deputy Commissioner Mr. Sivarasu & CEO Mrs.
Vasantha also participated in the inauguration. Mr. Baskaran, State Program
Manager (AIF) briefed about the blog created for DE program. Mr. Alexander
Zonal Coordinator gave a brief introduction about internet and followed by the
training Coordinators. Apart from internet, training on Ms-Excel and Ms-word
were also done.
